Impressive 41 from Gilroy (Jr). Pins were setup in very difficult spots, playing a little harder than normal. Birdie on 4 was very nice, made a 25 footer. Obrien (So) hit some great shots as well. Lots of bright spots from the freshman class too. Great day, nice W!

⛳️ Redwolves Open the Season with a Win! 🐺❤️🖤

The Clinton Girls Golf team started the 2026 season strong, earning a 166–206 victory over Lenawee Christian at Rustic Glen Golf Club!

Meghan Gilroy took top honors in the field with a 41, while Ali O’Brien finished second with a 58. Nadia Albashir posted a 67 in her first high school golf competition, followed by Rylee Walters with a 70. Ava Snyder shot an 81, and Olivia Grzebik finished with an 85 to round out the Redwolves roster.

It was a great start to the season, and the Redwolves will look to carry that momentum into their first conference tournament on Wednesday, August 26, hosted by Adrian-Madison at Wolf Creek Golf Club.

Diesing, Nguyen win city junior golf titles

Leo Nguyen and Leighton Diesing won city junior championships as part of the R.W. Mercer Jackson Junior Golf Tour Tuesday at Sharp Park Golf Course.
The tournament has taken over as the city championship for each age group.
Nguyen shot a 1-under-par 70 after shooting a 33 on the front nine and a 37 on the back. He birdied No. 1 and had an eagle on the par 4 eighth hole.
Diesing shot a 45 on the front nine but rebounded with a 41 on the back nine at Sharp Park.

Brandon is in with an even-par 35, including 🐦🐦🐦, for a total of +2 73. The 73 was good for 3rd place overall, but not quite enough to catch Champion Leo Nguyen with his 70. Brandon's 73 is his lowest tournament round of the year. Damion battled hard and finished 37th. Great job today boys, keep grinding and working hard on your game.
