PARKING NOTICE: Snow removal tonight Wed. 1/28 starting at 10pm in the Downtown Business District & surrounding areas.

The Department of Public Works will be working overnight
TONIGHT Wednesday, January 28, 2026 starting at 10pm until the morning of Thursday January 29, 2026 to remove snow in the following areas:

-High Street from Union St to Water St
-Church St from Main St to Chestnut St
-Union St from Chestnut St to High St
-Water St from High St to Main Street

Crews will be clearing snow from sidewalks, streets and intersection corners in the Downtown Business District and surrounding areas.

Residents on these streets are asked to please park their vehicles off street in their apartment lots or in town-owned public parking lots located on Church Street, Walnut Street, or Water Street.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation. More information about parking bans related to snow plowing and removal can be found on our website.
