Back in May, CHS Unified Special Olympics attended Meet of Champs. We were suppose to attend Summer Games, but the weather did not cooperate.

Unified Special Olympic Partners received their certificate and cord from Arkansas Special Olympics at senior awards .

Traditional Track and Field was Saturday, April 25th in Vilonia. Andie Lewis and Christian Schneider attended. Andie ran the torch and placed third in the softball throw. Christian placed first in the 100 meter walk and third in softball throw. Christian will be heading to state in May for his 100 meter walk. Thank you Mrs. Linda for your help. It was a fun day.

This afternoon, we had the incredible honor of welcoming our 2026 State Champion Unified Special Olympics Basketball Team to the field! 🏆💛🖤

These athletes continue to inspire us all with their determination, teamwork, and heart. Their state championship is a huge accomplishment, and their impact reaches far beyond the game.

We were proud to celebrate them as they threw out the ceremonial first pitch and showed everyone what it truly means to be a Yellowjacket.

Thank you for representing our school and community so well—we couldn’t be more proud! 👏🐝
