had no idea I was going to put her on the bike to finish the class. My team knows they can be asked to turn it on at any moment. They’ve been hearing me say “stay ready” for the last year and Alicia did just that. Many of us have not taught in months, maybe even a year or two like me. This speaks to the years of preparation each of us at GrooveRyde have put in to master our craft. Training, practice and 100s of hours leading classes. I decided to bring back GrooveRyde after a 2–year hiatus because the product is so damn good. I look at our comeback as putting something in the cellar in order for it to age - reopening it to something even better.I watched this clip dozens of times Alicia because it shows how fired up you are to (re)build our community and to lead an even bigger and stronger pack. Like you said a few weeks ago… we’re just getting started. You already know is going to turn up at . Can’t wait to see you two put on a show on Wed July 30th. Ticket link in bio.

Bikes are almost sold out for our long-awaited return! Join us this Wed at 6:30pm at our old stomping ground, The Van Aken District. The outdoor cycle class will be led by Alicia Hansen Creative. Proceeds from your $25 donation will go to the LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland. If you can't attend, you have the option to buy a spot and we will gift it to a ryder who may not be able to afford it at this time. Please email us at [email protected] after making your purchase and let us know that you are gifting your reservation.

There are only a limited number of bikes so don't wait. We will be riding on our white Schwinn bikes. Pedal cages for sneakers and they also take SPD cycle shoes.

Please bring plenty of water, sunscreen, a towel and any protective layers from the sun. Beginners are welcome!! Hope to see you there for a GrooveRyde Van Aken reunion.

After 8 years, thousands of classes spread over 3 locations, dozens and dozens of events and the blossoming of a RYDE or DIE community that has become family...  with a heavy heart, GrooveRyde will officially come to an end on July 31st.

We want to sincerely thank our team - past and present, our dedicated members and our community collaborators for making this an unforgettable RYDE. It took a global pandemic to derail our speeding train, but we know that GrooveRyde will live in spirit for many many years to come. 

was our first motto that represents "community over competition" and our unwavering ethos that everyone belongs. 

is our brand's mindset and the name of our team. We lead with the heart, move mindfully and always give 110%. 

We hope that being a part of our pack has uplifted and inspired you. It's been an honor and a privilege serving you. 🖤
