Our hearts and prayers go out to her family. Peggy was a try gem when it came to umpires. Please send up prayers for her family during this time.
Today our hearts are heavy.
From myself, Stephen, and the entire USFA staff, we are deeply saddened by the loss of our treasured umpire and dear friend, Peggy.
Peggy was truly one of a kind. To know her was to love her. She didnβt just show up to the ballfield - she brought joy, laughter, and a whole lot of heart with her every single time. She loved the kids, she loved the game, and she loved her fellow umpires. You could see it in the way she encouraged players, supported coaches, and stood beside her umpire family with pride and dedication.
The softball community wonβt be the same without her behind the plate or on the field, but her impact will live on in the countless lives she touched.
While we grieve, we also cling to the blessed assurance that we will see her again one day. Until then, we will honor her by loving the game and each other the way Peggy did.
Please keep her family, friends, and our entire USFA family in your prayers during this difficult time.
Forever a part of our USFA family. ππ₯
