After a whole lot of thinking, and even more praying, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Ragball Tournament.

If you know us, or you’ve ever been a part of our event, you know just how much of ourselves we pour into making this something special. It’s so much more than a tournament to us. It’s a way to honor Kade, bring people together, give back to our community, and continue the mission of Play for Kade.

With work obligations and some other unforeseen obstacles this year, we truly feel that this is the best decision for our family and for the event. We also have a senior this year, and we want to be intentional about being present and soaking up every single moment we can with him.

As hard as it is to make this decision, we are excited to look ahead. We will be back next year - bigger, stronger, and ready to celebrate 10 YEARS of Play for Kade! 💙💚

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your continued love and support over the years. To everyone who has played, volunteered, donated, sponsored, shared a post, bought a shirt, cheered us on, or simply believed in what we are doing — we appreciate you more than you know.

This journey has been filled with so many incredible people and memories, and we are so grateful for every single one of you who has walked alongside us.

The date has officially been set, and the planning for our 9th Annual Play for Kade Ragball Tournament is underway! 💙

As we begin preparing for another special year, we would love for you to consider becoming a sponsor and helping us continue making a difference in our community.

Every year our goal is simple: create a day filled with fun, community, laughter, and memories that people will carry with them long after the last game is played — all while honoring and celebrating the life of Kade Dylan Contreras.

What started as a way to keep Kade’s memory alive has grown into something so much bigger because of the support and love from our community. Every dollar raised goes directly back into our youth through sports sponsorships and graduating senior scholarships, allowing us to continue pouring into kids and families year after year.

Last week, Courtney and Brittany had the honor of presenting three scholarships to students who truly represent what Play for Kade is all about — resilience, perseverance, passion, and positivity. 💙💚

We believe making a positive difference in the world starts with each of us, and we are so proud to support these students as they begin their next chapters. Being able to do this in memory of Kade Dylan makes it even more meaningful.

Kade was just a little 4-year-old boy, but the impact he made with his life continues to reach so many people every single day. His legacy lives on through every act of kindness, every opportunity given, and every life touched through Play for Kade.

For our family, this cause is deeply personal. Kade was an organ donor and through his gift, he saved 5 lives. His legacy continues to live on in the most beautiful and meaningful way.
