Saint Ignatius Wildcats Athletics This Page is devoted to the sports teams which make up the Athletic Program of Saint Ignatius High School in Cleveland, OH.

Saint Ignatius has twice been ranked by Sports Illustrated as having the best Athletic Program in Ohio in 2005 and 2008. The Wildcats Football team under head coach Chuck Kyle has won an OHSAA record of 11 Division I State Championships and is widely considered one of the best high school football programs in the state of Ohio and the United States. The Wildcats Soccer team under Mike McLaughlin has also been nationally recognized as one of the best high school soccer programs in the country.

Tonight at Winterhurst, the Ice Cats improved to 12-0 on the season with a 4-3 victory in OT over the St. Edward Eagles. Senior Mike Abood hit the game winner for St. Ignatius. Great win and a great start for the hockey team.

Congratulations to the players and coaches of the St. Ignatius Wildcats football team for defeating the Pickerington Central Tigers 34-13 in the Ohio Division I State Championship Game... Number 11 in 11'

Congratulations are in order to the Football team as Chuck Kyle's Wildcats defeated the St. Edward Eagles 20-17 for the second time this season... Great job men! Bring on Mentor!
