Hey Medios!

A couple of announcements:

Our second to last tournament of the season is taking place NEXT WEEKEND on Saturday, September 12 at beautiful Tanglewood Golf Club. I need to get registration finalized by the end of this week, and right now we are low on signups. Please get signed up asap: https://mgatour.com/events/cleveland-douche-bag-invitational-2026

NEXT: the 2026 BUCKEYE CUP is taking place on Saturday, September 19th at Oakhaven Golf Club - a brand new spot that I heard is awesome! Cleveland needs at least 12 golfers to compete and right now we only have nine! We just won the Midwest Regional, so lets go and try and sweep the regionals!

And finally, our final event of the season is taking place on Saturday, October 3rd at StoneWater Golf Club! StoneWater is an amazing course and I've had the priveledge of working with them outside of the MGA for a few years. They are graciously giving us the back outdoor area after the round and all friends and family are welcome to come out and enjoy food, drinks and a final season send off before Vegas! I would GREATLY APPRECIATE if we could get this tournament filled up and have a nice crowd at The Yard afterwords!

For all you westsiders, this is about as close as a tournament gets, and it's at a great price too!

And if you're lucky enough to be concerned about the Money List, this is the largest purse of the season at $9.50!

Big news to share from this past weekend, Medios! Fifteen of your fellow Cleveland Medios headed out to the 2026 Midwest Regional to battle against 70+ golfers across nine different chapters, and wouldn’t you know it, CLEVELAND came out on top to retain the cup!

It was one hell of a day for the entire CLE crew with three out of the top five spots, and ten out of the top twenty-five all going to Cleveland. Big thanks to the Billdozer for putting on a great event and thanks to the entire crew for traveling out!

I have been unable to locate a team picture, so I’ll just drop this one from the parking lot.

Been running a bit behind this year, but I wanted to give a shoutout to our 2026 FU Open champion Mike Hawkins!

Mike has taken the CLEMGA by storm this season racking up four top-10 finishes, three top-5 finishes and capping it off with his first career win! He's sitting atop the CLEMGA money list and 130th on the global money list!

Congrats on an awesome season so far and see you in Las Vegas!

Our next event, The Bratish Open, is taking place in just a few weeks on SUNDAY, August 2nd at Briarwood Golf Club & Event Center. Right now the sign ups are super low, but I have faith that our Medios will get signed up and save me the awful conversation with the course.
