Calli is a versatile player who can contribute in several different spots on the field, but she especially loves getting in the circle and competing! 💪🥎

Our first tournament of the fall is in the books, and there is A LOT to be excited about with this group! This weekend gave our pitching staff exactly what we needed, live tournament innings, adversity, and opportunities to compete!

We used three pitchers this weekend

Charlotte #1 Game 1 96 pitches 53 strikes

At 10U, pitching development isn’t just about the stat line. It’s about learning how to compete when runners get on, trusting your defense, finding the strike zone, and having the confidence to throw the next pitch.

Offensive:

We talk constantly about being patient at the plate, having quality at-bats, putting pressure on the defense, and finding ways to get on base. The girls did exactly that this weekend!

That .615 OBP really stands out. Our girls competed at the plate and didn’t feel like they had to swing just to swing. 21 walks in 3 games shows patience and discipline, and once we got on base, we were aggressive — 28 stolen bases!

🥎⭐ TOURNAMENT WEEKEND IS HERE! ⭐🥎

We are VERY excited to kick off our first tournament of the Fall this weekend at the SFP Labor of Love Tournament!

These girls have put in the work. They’ve practiced hard, learned, and continued to grow together as a team. Now it’s time to take everything we’ve been working on and bring it to the field!

Our goal stays the same. play hard, play smart, compete for each other, and execute the fundamentals. Wins will come, but development, effort, attitude, and being great teammates will always come first.

We’re ready to see what this group can do! Time to get the Fall season started! ⭐💙🥎

🥎 SCRIMMAGE DAY RECAP — FL STARS FASTPITCH - COOLEY ⭐️

What a great day of softball!

First, a huge THANK YOU to Hernando Haze for putting today’s scrimmages together and to Citrus Crush and Power Prospects for coming out and playing! Four great teams, awesome coaches, and a lot of talented young athletes on the fields today. We’re looking forward to seeing all of you again this fall during tournament season!

Today was also a big day for Calli and Lily, facing tournament teams for the first time — and they did AWESOME! Proud of the way they competed, trusted their defense, and handled the moment.

Today wasn’t about a trophy or a record. It was about getting reps, competing, learning, and seeing where we are before tournament season begins.

Lots to be proud of and lots to keep working on.
