In a unanimous 5-0 vote, the Dunedin City Commission has officially enacted a permanent ban on launching PWC's (wave runners, jet skis) and boats with motors (skiffs, Jon boats, etc.) from the Dunedin Causeway.

This landmark decision follows strong recommendations and joint advice from the Residents of Dunedin, the Parks and Recreation Department, and the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office. A dedicated coalition of local community groups, ecological advocates, and notable individuals also made a powerful impact in securing this victory.
