When I was just three months old, I found myself wrapped tightly in a crab trap line and couldn't get out of it. I was rescued and transported to Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Biography
I am a 6 year old Atlantic Bottlenose dolphin. I was rescued from Mosquito Lagoon (near Cape Canaveral) and transported to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium to begin a long rehabilitation. Unfortunately, I lost my entire tail ... but I was so lucky to pull through and have such great people taking care of me! Despite the odds, I healed, adapted a new swim pattern and even learned to eat fish of my own ... about 12 pounds a day! Hanger Prosthetics also made me a prosthetic tail so I could learn how to swim up and down instead of side to side. I really love it when I get to wear my special tail. I live with Panama ... my adopted mom. She's great and we really enjoy playing together throughout the day. Basic Info
