The biggest question we are getting right now is "is the river too low to paddle?"

The answer is no! While the water is low, you can still get out and enjoy the Mississippi. There is a main channel all the way through, so no worries there!

🏞Trip Spotlight: 13 Mile!

Our 13 mile river trip takes you from Beaver Islands in St. Cloud right back to our location in Clearwater. You will start by hopping in our shuttle where one of our drivers will bring you to the park and help get you on the water.

This trip takes about 4-6 hours of paddling. You can explore the Beavers Islands immediately after getting on the river (fisherman love to hit this area!). Once you paddle down stream you will pass two DNR campsites, which offer a great spot to get out, relax, and enjoy a picnic.

You will get off the water right back at our store, located on the banks of the river. From there, our staff will handle all your equipment. No stress needed on your end!

🛶We often get asked what we recommend when it comes to paddling. And that answer is going to change depending on who you talk to.

One thing we have noticed is that, no matter how often we suggest canoes, they seem to be the last boats on the rack on a busy day. So, next time you are looking to get on the river, think about renting a canoe! If you have never paddled a canoe, we are here to help. Let us know its your first time, and our staff will be happy to give you tips and tricks before hitting the river!
