This Sunday at 6PM, the Central Cavaliers come together for our first official team meetup as we continue building toward our inaugural 2027 season.

Players. Coaches. Brotherhood. One goal.

This is an opportunity to meet the team, capture our first team photos and continue laying the foundation for what we're building in Central Pinellas and surrounding areas.

The road to 2027 is underway. ⚔️🏈

⚔️ CAVS SIGNING: KALVION TURNER ⚔️

The Central Cavaliers are adding another versatile weapon to the offense and special teams.

Welcome Kalvion Turner to the Cavs family! 🏈

Kalvion brings experience playing WR, slot and running back, while also giving us another option in the kick and punt return game. His versatility allows our coaching staff to move him around and find different ways to get the football in his hands.

His football journey includes time at Manatee High and Booker High, before continuing his career at the collegiate level with Warner University. Warner’s official football roster lists Kalvion as a running back, giving him legitimate college experience to bring into our locker room.

That’s the type of player we want someone who can contribute in multiple areas and understands what it takes to compete at the next level.

The Central Cavaliers just added a proven playmaker to the backfield. 🏈

Welcome Darion Langston to the Cavs family!

Darion comes to Central with EAFL experience and a track record of production, rushing for 1,000+ yards with the Florida Cougars. He brings a physical running style, toughness and the ability to make things happen when the ball is in his hands.

Adding an experienced 1,000-yard rusher gives our offense another weapon and adds even more competition to our RB room. We want guys who are hungry, experienced and ready to work for everything they get.

Darion has already shown he can produce. Now it’s time to see what he can do wearing CAVS across his chest. ⚔️

⚔️ CAVS SIGNING: ALI SALAM ⚔️

Another Clearwater product is coming home.

The Central Cavaliers are proud to welcome Ali Salam to the Cavs family!

Ali brings experience, physicality and a high football IQ to our defense, with the versatility to contribute at DE and SS. He also comes to Central with EAFL experience with the Highlanders, so he already understands the competition and intensity of this level.

Ali's football roots run right here through Clearwater High School, where he played varsity linebacker. During his senior season, he recorded 32 tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery, after also recording an interception during his junior season.

What stands out about Ali is the mentality he brings with him. He plays aggressive, understands the game and isn't afraid of contact. That's exactly the type of energy we want on this defense.

For us, this one means a little more too. We're building a team to represent Clearwater and Central Pinellas, and adding another player who came through Clearwater football is exactly what this organization is about.

The Central Cavaliers are proud to welcome Mar’Quan Harris to the Cavs family!

At 6’0”, 185 lbs, Mar’Quan joins our quarterback room bringing athleticism, confidence and a leadership mentality. The quarterback position is about more than throwing the football , it’s about communication, accountability, decision-making and earning the trust of the guys around you. Those are qualities we want throughout this organization.

What makes this addition even better is that Mar’Quan is buying into the Cavaliers vision on and off the field.

Along with joining us as a player, his barbershop will be partnering with the Central Cavaliers as our Official Barbershop Partner. 💈⚔️

That’s what we mean when we talk about building something bigger than football. We want our players, coaches, local businesses and community growing together and supporting one another.

⚔️ WELCOME TO THE LAND: COACH TAVARES TRIPP ⚔️

The Central Cavaliers are proud to officially welcome Tavares Tripp as our Linebackers Coach! 🏈

Coach Tripp brings football experience, leadership and an entrepreneurial mindset to the Cavs. After a strong high school football career, he now has the opportunity to take what he learned on the field and pour it into the next group of athletes.

As our Linebackers Coach, Tavares will help develop a unit built around toughness, discipline, communication and accountability. We want linebackers who play fast, play physical and understand their responsibility to the entire defense.

What Coach Tripp brings goes beyond football as well. His entrepreneurial mentality and leadership fit the culture we're building developing men who understand that the lessons learned through football can carry into business, family and everyday life.

Another leader added to the staff. Another piece of the foundation in place.

⚔️ SIGNED: MARTIN HERNANDEZ #55 ⚔️

Some signings add another player to the roster. This one adds another chapter to a family story.

The Central Cavaliers are proud to welcome Martin Hernandez #55 to the Cavs family!

Martin brings high school football experience and the versatility to contribute at LB, OL and DL. His physical style of play and ability to work on both sides of the line gives our coaching staff another valuable piece as we continue building this team.

But what makes this signing even more special is that Martin will have the opportunity to take the field alongside his father. 🏈

Football has a way of bringing people together, and moments like this are exactly why our motto means so much to us. A father and son getting another opportunity to compete, represent the same colors and create memories together is bigger than any stat on a scoreboard.

For the Hernandez family, this isn't just another season.

It's a chance to build a legacy together.
