Selma Cyclepaths This cycling group exists to bring awareness of and support for MS and promote physical health. We have riders from 12mph to 20+mph. See you on the road.

This friends and family cycling group runs vehicle supported training rides from mid-April through September from The Flowers Plantation, off Hwy 42 near Buffalo Road in Clayton, NC. You will always find someone to ride with! You may also find someone to carpool with as many of us travel from Wake County to the scenic, less traveled and mostly flat roads of Johnston County. The Cyclepaths were fou

nded about 30 years ago as a fundraising vehicle for the Eastern Chapter of North Carolina MS Society. Always one of the largest teams at the annual New Bern MS Bike Tour, we took the team fundraising title 7 years ago when we became the first team in the Chapter to raise $100,000 in one year. Our goal is to be the first team to reach 2 Million Dollars in the Chapter's history. This year's MS Ride is September 11-12 , 2021.

Featured in the latest issue of Treasure is an article highlighting the Selma Cyclepaths. A group of 44 riders represented the team in New Bern on September 6-7 for an incredible 2-day ride event. Over 1000 riders from states all over the country came together riding to raise awareness of the devastating disease Multiple Sclerosis. We are so proud to support the Selma Cyclepaths and their journey to raising money to fight MS.

Greetings Cyclepaths! Sunshine is coming and so is our Selma RR Days ride - October 4th!

The Mayor of Selma and the Selma Police Department will send us off in style at 8 AM! This is a SAG supported ride with 3 routes and snacks/beverages provided. It is a free event but donations to the MS Society gladly accepted.

Wear your green Cyclepath jersey, so guest riders will know who the regular riders are!

· Weather forecast – partly cloudy with temps in the 60’s and 70’s . Perfect fall riding weather!
· Start Time: 8 AM from Selma Baptist Church – 1500 N Webb St – Selma, NC
· Distances: 10, 26 or 47 miles

Tip2Tip is a charity cycling event designed to raise funds for culinary school scholarships as supported by Crystal Coast Corks & Forks, LLC. The event is held the last Saturday in September and has routes along Bogue Banks (NC).
