Fall is basically knocking on the door — the leaves are turning (or will be soon), pumpkin spice is plotting its annual takeover, and football season is about to blast in like it owns the place. And guess what? We are down to the FINAL 10 DAYS to register for 2026 tackle football for Rainier and Clatskanie, grades 3rd–6th. Ten days. That’s it. No overtime. No extra downs. No magical extension.
If you’ve got questions, concerns, ideas, suggestions, or your kid suddenly woke up and decided they’re the next Friday Night Lights legend, now is YOUR chance - reach out!
Not after registration closes.
Not when panic sets in.
Not when your athlete is already asking what number they’re gonna be.
We want every kid who wants to play, OUT THERE on that field — but we need families to jump in before the deadline hits.
So please, please, please get ahold of us now. Reach out to any board member directly, or contact us through our website or email. We want your athletes suited up, pumped up, and ready to hit the field this fall… but we need YOU to jump in before the clock runs out.
Football camp is THIS WEEKEND — yes, already! If your kid isn’t sure whether they want to play this season, or they’re feeling a little nervous, this is the PERFECT chance to test the waters. No pressure, no commitment — just a fun, low‑stakes way to meet the other kids, get comfortable, and see what the Wildcats are all about. Sometimes all it takes is one practice, one drill, or one new friend to flip that switch.
Bring them out to camp so they can run around, learn a thing or two about ball, meet the coaches, and soak up that Wildcats team energy. If it’s not their thing this year — that is totally OKAY! We would still absolutely love to have them at camp. It’s all about giving them a fun, low‑pressure chance to try it out and see what they think.
