Really awesome stuff to see tonight at “old man ball”

We have alumni that get together and play basketball a couple of times a week and make sure to integrate our high school kids and even middle schoolers!

Awesome way to spend our evening watching the gym being used and growing the love of the game from one generation down to the future generations!

Congratulations to Senior Camden Behrends on being a Iowa Star North Honorable Mention

Cam had an impressive Senior year and moved up the ranks in the Clarksville Boys Basketball History Books.

This season Cam finished

- 2nd on our Team in total points and ppg
- 4th in AST (North Side Only)
- 6th in AST (North & South Combined)
- 3rd in AST all time in a single season for Clarksville Boys Basketball History Books
- 2nd in AST PG all time in the Clarksville Boys Basketball History Books (right behind Logan Faust)

The stats are impressive but was more impressive was Cams leadership and mentorship to everyone in the program!

Cam has definitely left his finger mark on the program in developing our teams culture and identity to new heights that we hope to see divedends in the near future.

Thank you Cam, for everything!

Parks & Rec League ✅

Today was the last day for the first ever Clarksville City Rec League!

The gyms were packed full of kids growing their love for the game while competing!

We want to thank every team that got signed up to make this wonderful 5 week long league happen! This was a great event that took a ton of work behind the scenes.

We want to thank our high schoolers that showed up and volunteered ref every weekend. This means a lot to the youth and we appreciate your sacrifices.

There are so many people to thank for making this league happen but we want to personally give a few of them some credit below as they went above and behind the norm.

Matt Hoodjer, stepped in and helped us finalize our master schedule for the parks & rec league while coaching multiple teams and helping get our concession stands set up in the mornings and cleaned up.

Laura & Megan. Thank you so much for all your work with the concessions stands and clean up! This did not go over looked and we had the best concessions stands!

Jen Miller, she really stepped up and just took over our admissions fee and getting people to help out. We greatly appreciate this as it appears to be a snall thing but lead to some bid dividends!

Lastly my assistant coach Ethan Schmidt. There were a lot of days where he was reffing +7 games! Whether it was reffing, bouncing around and doing what ever was needed he always did it!

This was a ton of work and we are very grateful for everyone who helped make this possible!

We look forward to next basketball season

Play in Game Final Results

56-52 loss to Tripoli

We had a slow start to tonight’s contest vs Tripoli. Mental we were not there, got out rebounded and out worked right off the bat.

We do however want to commend our guys though as we were down big at half and they never backed down and kept chipping away at the deficit.

We had a huge 14-0 run that took the lead!

Late in the fourth quarter we went up by 4 points. Had bad shot selection down the stretch and Tripoli capitalized on it to secure a victory.

We however couldn’t be more proud of the way our kids represented this program and community all season long.

The adversity our kids went through this season was unique. I commend all of them for never giving up, fighting for each other and loving the game!

To our fans tonight, THANK YOU! Felt like a home game. We also want to thank all of you for your support all season long!

To our lone senior, Camden Behrends… THANK YOU. Cam is a phenomenal young man, captain and emabdassor of the community of Clarksville! Cam is leaving a positive impact on the program as he elevated our culture, standards and habits immensely! Cam is going to be a great head coach one day and we can’t wait to follow his journey! Thank you for everything Cam!

Final Score Results vs Saint Ansgar

JV loses 46-39 in a full game! We seen a lot of positives from all our guys in their last game this season!

Jacob Moon got red hot from beyond the arc.

Cooper Wedeking had nice post positioning and footwork

Landon Anfinson had a nice lob play and made some nice jumo shots

Wyland Geover played some stingy defense and pressured the bal

Noah Moon played some good defense tonight and moved the ball well

To our “JV guys / team” we cannot begin to thank you all for the positive attitude, no excuses and no complaining approach to a unique season.

Our JV team didn’t get to play in a lot of full games this year. But I commend all of them for their positive attitude, always trying their best and doing what the coaching staff asked of them.

We got out physical by a very aggressive and first to contact team in Saint Ansgar tonight.

We will take this loss and use it as a positive moving into the post season.

Could not be more proud of a group of kids for responding to a 7 vs 3 seed in the conference crossover challenge.
