Steve Schmidt with a 20 lb, 10.5”beard, 1.25”spurs, Tn. Bird.

We stalked up on 3 mature birds traveling together. We were caught dead-to-rights. Steve copped a squat and I backed out. After 45 minutes of “Sweet Talk” those three stooges had to come see the Siren.
End of story.....

21lbs, 10.5” beard, 1.25” spurs.
Took almost 2 hours of sweet-talk to get this ol boy away from his buddy AND cross a 30’ creek! He would get up on a log and gobble, while his buddy ate. Then, they would change places and his buddy would gobble on the log. This went on for almost 2 hours...

Finally he broke away from his bud when I played hard to get and went silent for 30 minutes. He gobbled all the way to my feet!

Long live the Mizise!

My buddy Val with a two bearded monster!
26lbs, 10” and 9” beards, 1.25” spurs.
We worked this ol bird away from a group of hens with the “Certain-Death Cutter”. He couldn’t stand the thought of a lonely babe in the woods!

Got it done by 06:20 this morning. Called him off roost with 5 hens in tow. Hens had me pinned down when he finally came into a small field with a couple DSD hens and a simple home-made fan. He was Not a fan of the fan! Came in running at full strut sounding like Captain Insane-O! His drumming sounded more like a growl when he saw the fan. Field tested the new “Certain Death Cutter” this morning..... I like it!
