🤼‍♀️ SEASON RECAP – HAYDEN MANNING

Freshman Hayden Manning capped an incredible first varsity season as the 2026 PIAA Girls Wrestling State Runner-Up at 155 lbs.

Season Highlights:
• 34–3 record
• PIAA State Runner-Up
• District II Champion
• Central Regional Bronze Medalist

Hayden reached the state finals in Hershey before falling to returning state champion and nationally ranked Violette Lasure.

In the first season of girls wrestling at Abington Heights, Hayden helped set the standard and made program history.

The future is bright.

🤼‍♀️ PIAA STATE SILVER MEDALIST

What a season.

Freshman Hayden Manning (155) finishes as a PIAA State Runner-Up in her first trip to Hershey — an incredible accomplishment in Year One of our varsity girls wrestling program.

Hayden fell in the championship match to Violette Lasure of Chestnut Ridge, a three-time state champion and the No. 1 ranked wrestler in the country.

From District Champion…
To Regional Bronze…
To State Finalist.

History made. Standard raised.

So proud of the way Hayden represented our school and community on the biggest stage.

The future is bright.

🤼‍♀️ PIAA CENTRAL REGIONAL – GIRLS WRESTLING RECAP

🥉 REGIONAL BRONZE MEDALIST – STATE QUALIFIER
155 – Hayden Manning (Fr.)

Hayden placed 3rd at the PIAA Central Regional in a loaded 155 lb bracket to punch her ticket to the PIAA State Championships in Hershey.

• Quarterfinal: Narrow 3–0 loss to Makayla Taylor (Clearfield) in a match that was scoreless entering the third period
• Responded with four straight pins in the consolation bracket
• Included a second-period fall over No. 5 Isabella Gottschall (Jersey Shore)
• 3rd Place Match: Pin over Bailee Scott (Bellefonte), 2:32

Currently ranked No. 7 in the state, Hayden showed resilience, composure, and championship-level response after an early setback.

She becomes Abington Heights’ first Girls Wrestling State Qualifier and continues to build history in Year One of our varsity program.

On to Hershey.
