Friday Night was the final night in Monte for the season. Mike won his heat and got 2nd in the feature. He is the Track Champion for Street Stocks. 💙🧡

It’s hard to believe it, but we’ve officially made it to the FINAL WEEKEND of the 2026 season at Atwater Karting Speedway! 🏁

We have a fun weekend planned to wrap up another great year at AKS!

💜 TASHA FESTER MEMORIAL SERIES BANQUET — SUNDAY MORNING

Join us Sunday morning at 8:30 AM as we celebrate everyone who participated in the Tasha Fester Memorial Series this season!

⭐ EVERYONE is welcome! You do NOT have to have raced every race in the series this year to attend.

Between Saturday and Sunday the kids ran 3 complete shows.

Saturday: The Wing Rumble (2 Shows)
1st Show:
Miles
Heat: 4th ➡️ 3rd
Feature: 7th ➡️ 8th

Mallory (17 kart)
Heat: 4th ➡️ 5th
She tried a different class RBoxPro (Blue plate). After the heat she decided she’d like to go back to Green Plate for the next show. So she didn’t race the Blue Plate Feature.

2nd Show:
Miles
Heat: 5th ➡️ 5th
For the Wing Rumble, they raced a 50 lap feature.
Feature: Miles 15th ➡️ 10th

Mallory (17 Kart)
Heat: 1st ➡️ 5th
Feature: 13th ➡️ 14th

Saturday Mike raced in Madison for kids night.
Heat 5th ➡️ 1st 🥇
Feature 8th ➡️ 5th
Lap 3 of the feature we lost a cylinder and still managed to work our way up to 2nd. After losing a spot we had a late restart and fell back to 5th. Still a pretty good night.

It was an exciting night for Jans Racing at Fiesta City Speedway last night. 🤩

Mike won both his heat and his feature. 🏁 🏆

And …… we’ve been toying around with the idea of putting Miles in a Pure Stock next year, so tonight we got him in a car to run a few laps on the track after the races. Check out the video to see Miles driving.

The time we tried a new go-kart track …..

Tuesday, Aug. 11th we traveled to Ogilvie to give a new go-kart track a try.

Racing didn’t go very well, but it was fun to give a new track a try.

Mike raced in Monte, where it was also Meet the Drivers Night.
Heat: 3rd ➡️ 1st
Feature: 2nd ➡️ 2nd

Both Kids raced Saturday and Sunday in Atwater for the final weekend of the Tasha Fester Memorial Tour.

Miles’ kart was hopping a lot during the feature and he ended up with a flat tire.

The weekend didn’t go quite as we had hoped, but Miles did finish 5th in overall points for the Tasha Fester Memorial Tour so that’s a positive! 🤩

Mallory hopped into a different Kart this weekend so we want to give a BIG Thank You to the Kelm Family for letting her borrow their Kart. We definitely hit the jackpot with all of our karting neighbors. 🥰

Also, a shoutout to all the people that showed up at the go-kart track to watch this weekend. Thank you for spending part of your weekend with us. We appreciate you all. 🧡
