Advanced Drop In 4/30
We made some great gains last night! Ten girls popped in on their week off, we did a “structured open gym” style where they got to choose what they wanted to work on…layouts, standing tucks, twisting, aerials…all star cheer requirements…
Perfect? No. On the way and in the learning process?
ABSOLUTELY.
And FIVE. FIVE DIFFERENT CHEER TEAMS were represented last night and I am SO HAPPY, like heart bursting, on how they got along and encouraged each other. ❤️🖤💙🩵🩷🖤💛🖤
I thought I got way more video than I did, but Other notable improvements I missed:
Evalina - standing tucks on air trak + air mat
Josaphine - round off BHS track AND round off tuck on the air trak! Even a round off layout into pit 🤯
Ellie, Evalina, Ellison, Eva, Ella, Brooke all worked on twisting layouts 😍😍😍😍😍
Eva - acro and dance turn connections, front tucks
Ellison- the start of her round off to layout and standing tucks
Ella - earned herself a Dunkin’s reward for connecting her front punch step out to a tumble pass!
Brooke - hard little worker she is, so determined to fix her set in her Arabian for connection 🤌🏽
Ellie - standing half and full into the pit
Jenna, Riley + Ragan - gosh I’m so proud of their work they’ve been putting in to get these walkovers and round off back handsprings for next cheer season. These are the kind of girls you want on your school’s cheer team 🥹 They show up every practice, do the drop-ins, ask what they can do at home 🫶🏽
The extra gym time, the extra reps…creating muscle memory, additional corrections and creating body awareness and strength…IT ADDS UP.
Professionals, elites, competitive and even just athletes with goals: Training time is required. You can’t skate around that.

Dunkin Rewards?
I have gift cards waiting for those who I have set a difficult goal for and they’ve consistently worked HARD to achieve it!
