I haven’t posted on here in a while, but I wanted to talk g***’s and how I think it gets misunderstood a lot! (I have to be very careful or I will get shadow banned again) 🙄

G***’s have gotten this reputation as something only for “overweight” people. As I have done my own research and being on a GLP1 myself for over a year now (microdosing) I see it VERY differently.

G*** is something your body naturally produces. It plays a huge role in insulin function, blood sugar regulation, and overall metabolic balance. And honestly a lot of us are not functioning efficiently in those areas.

First and foremost I had lab work done. My thyroid was barely functioning, and my insulin wasn’t doing what it should. I was the person weighing every gram of food, skipping events to never miss a workout, building muscle easily but unable to lose even 5 pounds no matter how disciplined I was. I did this for years, it was mentally exhausting to the point it was becoming a problem. That is not normal. When I started on a low dose and gradually increased, the first thing I lost was water weight, which was exactly what my body had been holding onto. Since my body is finally responding the way it’s supposed to my metabolism is faster and I’m no longer on thyroid medication.

And to the “it’s cheating” comments I don’t think people understand what it’s like to do everything right and still feel stuck. Not everyone needs this but I do think more people could benefit from understanding it.

This is such a good summary of what peptides are. It’s simple really!

Peptides help with healing that works WITH your body instead of relying on traditional pharmaceutical drugs to override it. Let’s face it big pharma keeps us sick to keep making money.

Peptides are amazing for support recovery, balance, repair, and metabolism support.

I have had MANY clients, friends, and family reach out to get more information on peptides, every one of them have been amazed with their results and just over all wellness.

Curious about peptides?!

A few months ago I kept seeing all of the great things about peptides and so I did some further research. What I have learned and through my own personal experience is that peptides can be used for a wide range of goals:

✨ Recovery & healing (muscles, joints, tissue
repair)
✨ Performance & energy
✨ Fat metabolism & body composition
✨ Skin, hair & nail health
✨ Healthy aging support

Peptides are naturally produced in our bodies, but as we get older, that production slows down which can be extremely frustrating. This is why some people are supplementing with peptides.

My two personal favorites are the ones that support hair, skin, and nails as well as a recovery peptide I use for after a heavy lift. I’ve seen a noticeable difference from them! And while there are so many options out there (which can feel overwhelming at first), the right ones can truly support your wellness goals.

Peptides aren’t a magic fix, but they are powerful tools when used the right way.

I know how hard it is to look in the mirror and not recognize yourself anymore. To feel like you’ve given everything to being a mom, a wife, or both and somewhere along the way, you disappeared.

I’ve been there. When I was no longer a wife, I suddenly realized I had no idea who I was outside of those roles. The mental toll it takes, the physical exhaustion that never seems to go away, the ache of wanting to feel beautiful in your own skin again. It’s heavy and it’s lonely but I PROMISE it gets better and God has something great waiting for you. 🙏

But here’s the thing: You are not “just a mom” or “just a wife.” You are a woman who deserves to feel strong, confident, and alive again.

And let’s not forget hormones matter. They play a huge role in your energy, mood, and weight. I can guide you in getting them back in balance, and I have an incredible doctor I can refer you to if you’re ready to take that step.

A year ago, I decided I was tired of feeling tired, depressed, moody, and just off. I went to see Dr. Jennifer Martin at TOPS, and she discovered I had low thyroid, insulin resistance, low testosterone, and low estrogen (no wonder I felt the way I did).

Then, after further testing, an MRI revealed I had a pituitary gland tumor connected to my brain. Dr. Martin was one of the first people I told because she listens and truly cares unlike the endocrinologist I initially went to, who didn’t take my symptoms seriously.

Since then, we’ve stayed on top of my health with bloodwork every 6 to 8 weeks. I’ve learned to be hyper aware of my body when something feels off, I let her know, and sure enough, the labs will show something needs to be tweaked.

Balanced hormones are life changing, not just for energy, mood, and focus, but also for mental health, libido in both men and women, and overall quality of life. Balancing hormones before menopause can make the transition smoother and help maintain muscle mass, bone health, mental clarity, emotional stability, and a healthy s*x drive.

Same body. Same woman. Just a whole different life now. When I started this journey, I had no clue what I was doing just doing cardio and hoping it would be enough. Eventually, I found the weights and something in me changed.

Since then, life has thrown a lot at me. Divorce, single mom life, highs, lows, and everything in between. But through all of it, the gym stayed the one thing I could always count on. It’s been my escape, my therapy, my constant. The gym has never disappointed me.

This transformation isn’t just about physical change. It’s about growth, resilience, and showing up for yourself especially on the hard days. Some would say they may have seen me ugly crying on the stair stepper a few times 🤣

Still learning. Still evolving. Still becoming.

The past month has been a whirlwind between moving and working full time, I had to put my own training on hold. And honestly, I get it now more than ever… life happens. But I’m finally settled and ready to go all in again 💪🏼✨

Something I like to ask my clients what is a short term goal you would like to target 🎯 well mine is I have a cruise ship to get on in 7 weeks and I have no time to waste 🛳️

So I made a choice this weekend, no drinking, eat clean, and start a new phase with my coach. These photos are just 4 days apart (last Thursday and this Monday) and you can see the difference on the right, less bloat, tighter waist, etc.

This isn’t about perfection it’s about consistency. The early morning check-ins, the workouts when I’m tired, the meals when I’d rather order takeout… I show up even when I don’t want to. That’s where the real results live.

And yes even coaches need coaches. Having someone in your corner keeps you honest, accountable, and aligned with your goals.

💫 Shoutout to my client Ryan! 💫

When Ryan first came to me in March, he was struggling with his weight, overall energy levels and honestly an unhealthy relationship with food. Fast forward to today he’s down 30lbs and absolutely crushing it.

This transformation didn’t happen overnight. It took discipline, consistency, and trust in the process. From dialing in his nutrition to sticking with the training plan, Ryan has shown up for himself every single day not to mention living in Alabama he did all of this through my online program.
