It is with great pleasure that NCSAA announces that Calvin Renfroe (Cincinnati Hills Christian - Cincinnati, OH) has been selected as the 2025-26 NCSAA Varsity Football National Coach of the Year. 🏈⭐️
Coach Renfroe has coached the Cincinnati Hills Christian football team for three years, tallying a 23-8 record in that time, with 12 years coaching the sport overall. He led this year’s team to a 9-1 record, and their program’s second conference championship in a row, all while displaying the vision for Christ’s work in on the football field, and in the hearts of the kids he leads.
“Calvin is amazing. One conversation with him and you will see why he is deserving of this award. He is missional and points kids to Christ and is elite when it comes to X’s and O’s. He is truly transformational and has elevated our entire athletic program and school! We have gone 9-1 in back-to-back seasons, won our conference both years, and received a bye in the first round of the playoffs. Several players have set school records including most completions in a game, most passing touchdowns in a game, most received TDs in a game, most rushing yards in a game, most career tackles and most career sacks.”
NCSAA considers the National Coach of the Year awards to be the highest honor that we bestow each year. As a national organization of more than 550 member schools, we select only one National Coach of the Year in football each year, so our selection of Calvin is a recognition of his deep commitment to Christ-centered athletics and impact on the lives of the kids that he coaches.
Congratulations and thank you, Coach Renfroe, for a job well-done and the impact that you have had
upon your community! 👏
