54 Years. July 27th 1990. The Day Everything Changed.
I was born in a village of less than 500 people.
Aitanit, Lebanon.
Tiny. Remote. Nothing to do but study, work hard, and survive.
Eight of us in two bedrooms. No gas. No electricity. No heat except one wood-burning stove.
I was the youngest for a long time. The one who did everything.
Cleaning. Cooking. Baking bread. Gathering wood in the dark while wolves howled in the distance.
No flashlight. Just me and the fear.
That was life.
And then the war came.
Bullets. Armies. Brutality.
My best friend died from a sniper's bullet.
I was 18 years old.
And I had a choice.
Stay home. Hide from the war. Live in fear.
Or leave.
I left.
July 27, 1990.
I landed at Toronto International Airport in Canada.
I remember it to the day.
Cold. Strange. Hard.
I worked in metal factories. Restaurants. Sweeping. Mopping.
Being looked down at. Ridiculed.
I worked at Subway Sandwiches because they gave me food for free.
That's how I survived.
But then something shifted.
I was shampooing ladies' hair at a salon as an apprentice.
And I saw them.
Students at the University of Toronto.
Walking under the trees. Carrying books. Laughing with friends.
Living.
And I imagined myself there.
So I took a test with Futures Canada.
The results came back.
I had the math and science skills to become an engineer.
That day changed everything.
I went to the University of Toronto on my lunch break.
Knocked on a locked door.
Hard enough that someone came out.
An admission officer. Lebanese my luck. Filling in that day.
She wasn't supposed to be there.
But God sent her anyway.
She showed me the ropes. How to apply. What to say. When to apply.
That angel opened the door.
And I walked through.
I became an engineer.
Not because it was easy.
Because I prepared. I had grit.
Cargill Inc. hired me before I even graduated.
Over the years at North Star Steel, I executed projects worth $80 million. $135 million. $90 million.
On time. On schedule. Crews trained. Systems optimized.
I worked with Fortune 500 companies. Cargill. North Star Steel. AK Steel. WEGU. Republic Steel. UMECC. Berkshire Hathway. Supplied parts to Ford, General Motors. Lockheed Martin.
I learned leadership. I learned ex*****on. I learned what it takes to engineer transformation.
And now, at 54, I stand here.
Success is not just the money.
It's the feeling.
It's becoming the best version of myself every single day with finesse.
It's my two daughters who inspire me to do more. Who keep getting better just like I did.
I've set a foundation for them to change the legacy of generations.
What I have now:
Relationships. Mindset. Skills. A team. A spirit of growth.
The kid gathering wood in the dark never had a chance.
It was dark. Cold. Brutal. Bleak. Dangerous.
The future now?
Bright. Healthy. Wealthy. Rich. Abundant.
And here's what's next.
The vision for the next chapter is big and beautiful.
I want to help 1,000 engineers and managers elevate their performance, their wealth, their legacy.
Want them to become wealth warriors.
Legacy to me means leaving everyone with an impression of increase.
People remembering the good of how they feel from working with me. Being around me.
With every person I help and support, I change their future and the future of generations to come.
This is a huge ripple in the universe.
If I could go back and talk to that kid in Aitanit, I'd tell him this:
Dream bigger next time.
Take action.
Ask for help.
Don't be afraid anymore.
The world needs you more than ever.
And it's waiting for you to stand up tall.
To the engineers and executives reading this:
You're standing at a crossroad.
You either choose growth or stalling.
You either decide to move forward or stay in the dark.
You have the potential. That's why you're reading this.
The key now is: Are you willing to do what it takes?
You are capable of doing anything you want.
If I can do it, so can you.
The key is in your hands.
Because I'm going to hand you the secret.
All I want is for you to step into your greatness.
And be willing to walk with me.
54 years.
July 27th. 1990.
The day I landed. The day everything changed.
What shaped you?
Drop a comment. I want to hear your story.
And if you're ready to engineer your own breakthrough, DM me.
Let's talk.
