Hey BUCCS Family,

First I would like to say I am so proud of all the efforts put in by our teams yesterday those boys did a good job and put up a good fight. It’s now play off time and I know they will continue to do their best.

As you are all aware we are throwing the kids a Halloween Party October 28.

We are asking that all parents donate at least 1 large bag of candy. You can give it to me or to Coach Rob’s wife Teea.

We want the kids to have an amazing time and leave with enough candy.

Please bring all donations to the field no later then 10/24!!!!

Thank you for all you guys do!!!! Any questions about donations please let me know.

Also if your child has any allergies please let us know so we can be mindful of that when we are putting their candy bags together.

When I say those 3g BUCC BOYZ played with their hearts today I mean that with everything within me I was proud of every player out there they walked away with a 24-0 win !!!!

Listen we gotta get these boys goin we gotta get basics all way down pack first cause everything starts up front I don't know why they are doin wat they want but it's our job as coaches to get them goin so wit that being said back to the teaching part we jumped straight into plays with them yes they can do it but the basics of them playin as a team we have to imply as well of getting them to do there job we got to get them tuff they not even tryin because I feel they are lacking in areas we skipped over so let's figure this thing out

Today was a crazy day but thanks everyone for showing up!!!!

A few take away from todays games:

1. The boys have got to be at practice each time we call one it is essential and affects the whole team when they don't come!

2. Even though it didn't happen to us today was a prime example of why we ask all of our players to be there so far ahead of time! At any time our opponents can call for our book and if our players are not there when we hand it to them it can cause us to loose out on allowing key players to hit the field. If a coach is asking for players to be there at 10 we need them there at 10 or before. This gives time for any mishaps that may come up. They didn't call for our books today but if they had we could have lost out on quite a few players being able to play because we were not there when our coaches asked for us to be (this occurred with our K-1 team today)

3. Please make sure these boys are getting a good nights rest the day before the game at least 8-10 hours of sleep.

4. Make sure they are having a balanced meal or healthy snack before coming to a game as well

5. Not our team specifically but if team moms or coaches are asking people to get off the field rather it is adults or children please do so. There were quite a few times where I asked people to go behind the gate parents and children and it was a lot of attitudes and disrespect especially from the children today because they have been allowed to do this for so long. we are doing this in order to help set the tone of expectations and to remove any chance of unreasonable flags that they can try to call on us for our sidelines being out of order.

6. We have got to hype these boys up and show that we believe in them. We know the games are about fun but the entrance today for our boys was DRY!!!!! We need to hype it up so they come out knowing we have full faith and support in them in all that they do!

7. For the next few games I am going to create a sign up sheet for snacks and stuff for after the game so we can rotate who is bringing what for the boys after they play. (Healthy options please)
