Last but not least our 14U and 16U divisions of Cyclones.

🥎🌀 14U- This team has been together for the most part for a couple of years. They added two players to their already talented roster.

They hit the ground running in the fall being a first year 14U team. They held their own against some good competition during the league nights and play days during the fall sessions.

They trained very hard in the winter and they were determined in the summer to make a splash!

Season results:
7 total tournaments

1 first place finishes. (Queensbury)

2 - semi final finishes (Cayuga / 1000 islands)

Overall record was 29-22.

These girls had many plays on and off the field this year! They will be a force next year as they will be a full 2nd year team. This team played all over and challenged themselves and will become stronger because of that!

🥎🌀 16U

Kelly Harris led this group of young ladies this past year with Andrea Ames and Emma Dickerson helping when she could.

They played a very competitive schedule. They struggled out of the gate but then found some momentum in Saugerties in June and played much better overall after that. & they made a good run in Fabius!

As a team they ended the season with a .332 batting average. These ladies worked hard! Some of the players on the team had long section 3 playoffs with 2 of the girls winning a state title. 🏆

Overall record - 12-25-1

This team battled all year long and pushed each other making some gains. Never giving up and striving to be better than the day before. Keep working hard and I hope the seniors can enjoy this next year!

As tryouts are coming to end we must do a recap of the current Cyclone teams. 10U and 12U Blue were last week. Up next is 12U Red and 12U White

🥎🌀 12U Red - These ladies came together as a team in early September. Added 5 new girls from tryouts. The coaches knew from the first practice in September that this team had something special. The coaches pushed them alll year long mentally and physically making them the best softball players on and off the field they could be.

They hit the ground running in the fall winning their first tournament. They played a fall play day in Henrietta and went 1-1-1 there. They knew from that day they needed to get into practice and work out some kinks. After that they went on a tear for the rest of the year.

Season results:
9 total tournaments!

6 first place finishes. (Morrisville / Cayuga / Victor / Horseheads / Webster / Auburn

3 second place finishes. (Rome / Geneseo (14U) / Binghamton)

These girls finished with a 60-5-1 record. Not bad for a team that had only played 10 months together. These girls worked so hard on their defense all year and all there rotations. These girls had many plays on and off the field this year! They won and lost with class and always stayed hungry! They will be a force in 14U!

🥎🌀 12U White
Coach Liv came to us after playing College softball at D2 Lackawanna. She had two great assistants helping guide her along the way. Coach Joe and Coach B!

Their first games in the fall was a hard transition to 12U being a younger 12U team. This team did not give up and they were pushed to work hard during the winter and get better

Over the course of this spring and summer they continued to grow. Making a jump to 12U is a big one from 10U. With the great coaches on staff they made some really big strides this year! They played their best the last two tourneys!

Season results:
Championships - (1000 Islands / Dunkirk)
Semi finals - (Rome / Webster)

These girls finished with a 21-38-1 record. They played their best softball at the end of the season! Working hard on and off the field they accomplished great things this past year.

As this weekend comes to a close most of our teams will be done for the season. This week we will be posting 2 teams a day in what they did this season.

🥎🌀 10U - These ladies came together as a team in early September. The coaches knew this would be a special group but didn't know how far they could take it. The only girls that came back from last years team were the coaches kids. They had to "rebuild". Did they ever. They found girls from all over CNY and got two special talents from Redfield and Cape Vincent.

These girls had a play day in the fall and dropped all 3 games. They turned it around and went into Boo Bash and won all 3 games. From there they found their groove and played amazing the rest of the season.

Season results:
3 runners up. (Salt city / Horse Heads / Rome)
2 semifinals (Webster / Geneseo)
1 championship (Salt city)

These girls finished with a 38-12 record. Not bad for a team that had only played 10 months together. The coaches and parents pour everything into their girls and this team. We couldn't be any prouder of their one heck of a season!

🥎🌀 12U Blue
Coach Nandin / Marzullo came over from Hazens to be apart of our 12U program. This is a first year 12U team and they worked their butts off all season long to develop and get better as a team. 7 girls came over from Hazens and they added 4 more to complete this very talented young roster.

Their first tournament was in Auburn and finished with a record 3-1. Losing to Cyclones 12U Red in a championship. These girls hit the winter hard to grow and get better!

Over the course of this spring and summer they continued to grow. Making a jump to 12U is a big one from 10U. With the great coaches on staff they made some really big strides this year!

Season results:
1 Runner up. (Cayuga)
2 semifinals (Rome and Webster)
1 quarterfinal (Horseheads)
2 Championships (Binghamton and Salt City). To end the year on a high note!

These girls finished with a 24-7-2 record. They will continue to get better as they will put the work in the off season and come back stronger than ever!
