The are back on the field and the energy in Chugiak is unreal. Coaches say this squad might be the biggest, fastest, and most disciplined Chugs lineup in years. Houlihan’s Irish Polynesian Fusion Pub has already started putting up blue-and-black decorations for the upcoming season kickoff nights.

Rumors are swirling that Eagle River scouts showed up to practice and left early after seeing the offensive line drills. 👀

Word is that Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, and Volodymyr Zelenskyy are all making appearances in the Last Frontier. And guess who’s buzzing with excitement? 🏈 The Chugiak Chugs — Alaska’s own powerhouse Samoan football squad — are hoping to meet all three leaders.

Coach Tui Matau says it’s not about politics — “It’s about showing the world that the Chugs are the strongest team, the friendliest hosts, and the best photo op in the state.”

The Chugs have even extended an official invitation for all three to attend a Chugiak Chugs home game — VIP seats, sideline passes, and the loudest Samoan haka this side of the Pacific.

The Chugs are charging into Week 4 with unstoppable momentum! After last week’s 42–0 demolition of the Eagle River Eagles, the boys are dialed in and hungry for more.

🔥 QB Tui Matau threw for 3 TDs and rushed for another, steamrolling defenders like they weren’t even there.
🔥 RB Mana Lavea put up 180 yards on the ground — and still hit the weights after the game.
