The Real Man Belt from SIMPLYRUGGED.COM.
It’s just a thick piece of Hermann Oak leather, a good buckle, and something every REAL man ought to have.
The first thing I ever did for Simply Rugged, when I was 11 years old, was finish one of these belts. I still remember my dad showing me how to use gum tragacanth and a little plastic wheel to slick the edges of a Real Man Belt. I still have the one I made for myself back then.
At the time, we made most of our holsters and belts on the kitchen counter and used USPS boxes for patterns because the cardboard was free.
Things have changed a little since then.
We’re now in a different state, working out of a real shop with eight people making hundreds of these at a time. But the belts are still made the same way: thick Hermann Oak leather, stainless steel buckles, and Chicago screws so you can swap the buckle out when you win a better one at the rodeo.
They’re built to last. Hell, you might wear yours for 30 years and then hand it down to your son.
