Brazilian Drumming Class, Sundays at 6pm, my home in Chapmantown.
We will learn: Samba Reggae, Afoxe, Samba de Roda, 6/8, Hip hop, Maracatu and other fun rhythms.
I will share my 30+ years of experience performing studying dance and drum with master teachers from Brazil and the Bay Area.

I have one show for Fringe Festival on Monday at 2 at Movement Arts of Chico !
This show features multi-genre dance and Brazilian fokloric dance as well.
It is without fire (the fire shows were canceled due to issues with the location)

The Legacy Stage Fringe Festival is coming up soon!
I will be doing three one-woman shows with firedancing, Samba, aerial and my own mix of movement as well as drumming in a dance theater show.

Friday at 9pm
Saturday at 6:30 pm, both shows at Le Petite Venue: 1080 East 8th
Monday at 2pm: a family friendly version of my show at Movement Arts of Chico

Saturday at 5pm I will be doing Samba, Afro Brazilian Orixa, and Samba reggae along with Chico World Dance at Movement Arts of Chico

I feel incredibly honored to have been accepted to do a solo show and I'll be incorporating all the things I love- Samba, Traditional Brazilian Dance and Drumming, Magical Lighted Prop theater and movement, Aerial hoop and umbrella, Firedancing and more!

This show will be very personal and will share how I use dance to overcome things like bullying, social acceptance, abuse, and isolation. Things I still struggle with and I feel so many women and girls do especially.

Tickets are $10 and I receive 60% of the proceeds

Sharing here because part of my show will be sharing Brazilian drum and dance!

I was just accepted to perform at the first annual Chico Fringe Festival!!! I am so so so so so so so excited!
The festival will take place at unique venues downtown!
First time I will be doing a solo long show, incorporating all of my things, into a theatrical dance story that I will also create the music and soundscapes for using my AAU program learnings!!!

As Dwight would say, "Perfectenschlagen".
