🏈 Kings of the North: D’Andre Swift’s Road to Chicago 🏈

The Bears didn’t just sign a running back—they added one of the NFL’s most explosive playmakers.

🔹 Georgia Bulldogs (2017–2019)
D’Andre Swift starred at Georgia, sharing the backfield with future NFL talent before becoming the featured weapon. In his final season, he rushed for over 1,200 yards, earned First-Team All-SEC honors, and established himself as one of the top running backs in college football.

🔹 Detroit Lions (2020–2022)
Selected in the 2nd round of the 2020 NFL Draft, Swift quickly became one of the league’s most dangerous dual-threat backs. During his three seasons in Detroit, he piled up rushing yards, touchdowns, and over 150 receptions, proving he could impact games as both a runner and receiver.

🔹 Philadelphia Eagles (2023)
After being traded to his hometown Eagles, Swift enjoyed a breakout season. Running behind one of the NFL’s best offensive lines, he rushed for over 1,000 yards for the first time in his career and earned his first Pro Bowl selection.

🔹 Chicago Bears (2024–Present)
Ryan Poles brought Swift to Chicago to help support rookie quarterback Caleb Williams and add explosiveness to the offense. Swift immediately became a reliable weapon, producing nearly 1,000 rushing yards in 2024. In 2025, under Ben Johnson’s offense, he reached new heights with a career-best rushing season, surpassing 1,000 yards and helping lead a dangerous Bears attack.

From Athens to Detroit.
From Philadelphia to Chicago.
Now he’s RB1 in the Windy City and a key part of the Bears’ future.

🏈 Kings of the North: Braxton Jones’ Road to Chicago 🏈

Not every NFL starter comes from a powerhouse program. Braxton Jones took the long road, and through hard work, determination, and perseverance, he earned his place protecting the blind side for the Chicago Bears.

🔹 Southern Utah (2017–2021)
Jones arrived at Southern Utah as an under-the-radar recruit and developed into one of the top offensive linemen in the FCS. He earned back-to-back First-Team All-Big Sky honors and impressed scouts enough to earn an invitation to the NFL Combine.

🔹 Chicago Bears Rookie Surprise (2022)
Selected in the 5th round of the 2022 NFL Draft, Jones quickly exceeded expectations. He won the starting left tackle job as a rookie, started all 17 games, played every offensive snap, and earned a spot on the PFF All-Rookie Team.

🔹 Battling Adversity (2023–2025)
Jones remained the Bears’ starting left tackle but faced several setbacks. Injuries limited him during the 2023 and 2024 seasons, and a knee injury cut his 2025 campaign short after six games. Through every challenge, he continued to fight his way back.

🔹 The Comeback (2026–Present)
With many questioning his future, Jones returned healthy and motivated. He reclaimed the first-team left tackle role during minicamp and enters the season once again protecting Caleb Williams’ blind side. His resilience and determination have earned him another opportunity to prove he belongs.

From Southern Utah to Soldier Field.

From overlooked prospect to starting NFL left tackle.

Braxton Jones continues to show that hard work and perseverance can overcome any obstacle.

🏈 Kings of the North: Jonah Jackson’s Road to Chicago 🏈

The Bears didn’t just add another offensive lineman—they added a proven veteran with a track record of success and toughness.

🔹 Rutgers & Ohio State (2015–2019)
Jonah Jackson began his college career at Rutgers, where he developed into a team captain and versatile offensive lineman. He finished his collegiate journey at Ohio State, earning First-Team All-Big Ten honors and establishing himself as one of the top guards in the nation.

🔹 Detroit Lions (2020–2023)
Drafted in the 3rd round of the 2020 NFL Draft, Jackson made an immediate impact. He started 57 games for Detroit, earned a Pro Bowl selection in 2021, and helped build one of the NFL’s most physical offensive lines.

🔹 Los Angeles Rams (2024)
Jackson signed a major free-agent deal with the Rams. Injuries limited his season, but his talent and versatility remained evident whenever he was on the field.

🔹 Chicago Bears (2025–Present)
Ryan Poles saw an opportunity and brought Jackson to Chicago, reuniting him with Ben Johnson. Jackson bounced back in a big way, starting every game at right guard and helping stabilize the offensive line. The Bears rewarded him with a contract extension, making him a key piece of the team’s future.

From Rutgers to Ohio State.
From Detroit to Los Angeles.
Now in Chicago protecting Caleb Williams and helping lead the next era of Bears football.

FROM COLLEGE STANDOUT TO NFL VETERAN TO CHICAGO BEAR: THE GARRETT BRADBURY STORY

Every player has a journey, and Garrett Bradbury’s path to Chicago has been built on hard work, consistency, and leadership in the trenches.

🏈 NC STATE WOLFPACK (2014-2018)

• Began his college career as a tight end before moving to the offensive line
• Developed into one of the nation’s best centers
• Three-year starter
• Won the prestigious Rimington Trophy in 2018 as the nation’s top center
• Earned Consensus All-American honors

His versatility and intelligence made him one of the most highly regarded offensive linemen in college football.

🟣🟡 MINNESOTA VIKINGS (2019-2024)

• Selected 18th overall in the 2019 NFL Draft
• Immediately became the Vikings’ starting center
• Started every game as a rookie
• Anchored Minnesota’s offensive line for six seasons
• Started 71 games and became one of the most durable centers in football

Bradbury established himself as a dependable starter and respected veteran during his time in Minnesota.

🔵🔴 NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (2025)

• Signed with the Patriots in free agency
• Started all 17 regular season games
• Allowed zero sacks during the season
• Committed zero penalties
• Helped lead New England to the AFC East title and a Super Bowl appearance

His outstanding season proved he still had plenty of elite football left in the tank.

🐻 CHICAGO BEARS (2026-PRESENT)

• Acquired by Ryan Poles via trade
• Brought in to solidify the center position
• Provides leadership and experience to a young offensive line
• Tasked with helping protect franchise quarterback Caleb Williams
• Becomes a key piece in Ben Johnson’s offensive vision

The center is often called the quarterback of the offensive line, and Garrett Bradbury brings years of experience, toughness, and leadership to the heart of the Bears offense.

Ryan Poles did it again. When a need opened up on the offensive line, he moved quickly to bring in a proven veteran who has started in playoff games, a Super Bowl, and nearly every situation imaginable.

Now Garrett Bradbury’s next chapter begins in Chicago.
