Super humbled and honored to be selected by my coaches for the Best Sportsmanship Award (BSA) for the 2021-2022 hockey season. At the start of the pandemic when the world shut down, Jesse made time to work with me and my brother on our skills in our Northbrook, IL driveway. So lucky to have Jesse to look up to!

An NHL scouting job came to Brigette Lacquette at a time when she needed it. She's the first Indigenous woman to scout for an NHL team. Her employer is the Chicago Blackhawks.
