Nephew had a day today. He finally qualified for 9u regionals in the 50-yard freestyle!!! He did his part in the relays. He swam anchor for the freestyle.

I challenged my 7 year old nephew that every 9u regional event he qualifies for, he gets $100. If he swims a qualifying time for the Championship or "Nationals," he gets another $100 per event. All the parents are rooting for him to get this money. He is 1.36 seconds from qualifying in the 50 freestyle!!!!!

Nephew won 3 out of his 4 races today. He set PR's i. 3 events today. He is less than a second off qualifying for 9u state 50-yard freestyle and less than 2 seconds off in the 100-yard freestyle. All them hills are paying off.
