⚽️🥇Ballers Players of the Month - February🥇⚽️
February was a great month at Ballers with birthday parties, half term camps, two age groups competing in the England Futsal Cup and all the players developing in their weekly futsal sessions. POTM awards have been slightly delayed as some groups missed a week with school exams going on in a couple of venues, but finally here are all the winners🥇
From our Monday nights at the Sandon Ballers centre we have the following four Player of the Month winners from their age groups;
U7-U9 Henry
Henry is an all action player and brings lots of energy and positivity to the group. He is doing very well in this group playing with some very good players who are two years older. He more than holds is own in this company and is one to watch. Henry is a strong competitor and frequently wins the ball back for his team. He is a confident dribbler too and can put chances away. Keep going and well played Henry 👏
U10-U12 George
George has been a consistently good performer at Ballers for years and it’s great to see his continued progress over that time. George has plenty to his game and his finishing is a particular standout attribute. Given the chance he can score from all angles. He also has a good attitude every week and is a pleasure to coach. Keep up the good work and well played George 👏
U13-U15 Jacob
Jacob has had injury issues this season and it’s great to see him overcome those and hit some excellent form at Ballers. Picked to represent Ballers U14’s for the England Futsal qualifiers against some top teams, he played very well on the day and scored his first competitive futsal goal. Jacob always put a real shift in for his teammates which as another factor in winning this award. Well played Jacob 👏
U16-U18 Bertie
Bertie is a U15 player invited into the Ballers U16-U18 session and has risen to the challenge of going against older players. He performs to a high level every session and has great foot work and ball retention skills. His passing vision is also a strong attribute of his with him often being the creator of scoring opportunities. A player with a bright future. Well played Bertie 👏
From our Tuesday Night Chelmsford groups it’s congratulations to the following two Ballers players;
U10-U12 Stan
Stan is new to futsal this season and has made a strong start to his futsal journey. He is confident and capable in possession and can progress up the court very effectively with his dribbling skills. He has played to a high level in our match practice sections of sessions and is often on the winning side due to his contributions. Keep it going and well played Stan 👏
U13-U16 Seth
Seth wanted to add a futsal session into his weekly schedule this season to complement his EJA football commitments and has impressed in the months he has attended this good level group. It’s a competitive bunch of players in this group and Seth has been able to show his quality on a consistent basis and was selected for the Ballers U14 squad for the England Futsal Cup qualifiers. On the day he showed his dribbling and passing qualities and rose to the challenge of taking on some of the best players around. Well played Seth 👏
From our Wednesday Night Chelmsford groups it’s congratulations to the following two Ballers players;
U11-U13 Milo
Milo is a high level, technically gifted futsal player who is a box of tricks with an end product too. His footwork speed makes him a formidable opponent as he wins many of his 1v1 attacking duels. In front of goal Milo has a variety of finishes he is very capable of putting away. He has a high workrate which elevates him as a player too. Well played Milo 👏
U14-U17 Christian
Christian is a U15 player who has been with Ballers since he was a U9 and is making consistent and significant progress, which is why he was chosen for selection by England Futsal for their development pathway programme.
Christian has all the attributes needed to really go on and mae an impact in his football and futsal future. He has incredible technical ability with his footwork and dribbling and finishing. He can escape out of the tightest of spaces with two players on him and is such a threat to opponents. He played up in the U16 Ballers team recently in the national qualifiers and again was a top performer on a big stage.
Christian is great example of the progress you can make playing futsal. Well played Christian 👏
Over in Maldon from our Thursday night sessions it’s congratulations to the following two Ballers players;
U7-U9 Alex
Alex is a U7 who is putting himself in a great position to develop as a player by taking up futsal at such a young age. Alex is a really coachable lad who brings so much positivity every week to our sessions. He always has a smile on his face which is great to see in players. Alex is developing well with his skill set and learning the basics of futsal. Promising signs for a bright future with his mix of determination and ability. Well played Alex 👏
U9-U12 Blake
Blake is a very talented lad who can play very effectively in every position of a futsal team. So many attributes to his game. His ball manipulation and quick feet alongside his accomplished dribbling skills helps him make a big impact each week at sessions. He is also a good futsal keeper when taking his turn in goal and often pulls off top saves and starts attacks with good distribution from his hands and feet. A fierce competitor too which will serve him well as he progresses up the age groups. One to keep an eye on. Well played Blake 👏
Congratulations to all the Ballers Players of the Month for February🥇⚽️
March still has another session week for all groups. We also have the Ballers Easter camps kicking off at the end of the month for players to have an extra opportunity to get on the ball and show their stuff to help towards the next batch of awards.
