I need to say this plainly: I'm 58, single, and I still want good intimacy in my life. Menopause tried to take that off the table for me โ and I said not today. Here's what I've learned, both from my own experience and from talking to so many women in this community: some of you are completely done with that part of life, and that's valid. Some of you miss it. Some of you are working to regain your desire. And some of you, like me, never lost it and are just tired of feeling like you have to whisper about it. Wherever you are on that list, there's no wrong answer. There are real biological changes happening โ hormone shifts that affect comfort, desire, and your body's response โ and there is a LOT you can do naturally to feel like yourself again. Lubricant, movement, sleep, and yes, honest conversations with your doctor are all part of it. No shame in any of it.
