It’s now been a month, since I started back working out! 🏋🏾‍♂️ I feel amazing!! Muscle memory is kicking back in! Getting stronger every day!! Rebuilding my confidence, and continuing my recovery! ❤️‍🩹 Thanks to all of you!! My family. My chosen family. My gym family…in helping and supporting me, through this tough time!! My 3rd week back hittin’ it 🏋🏾‍♂️ Did Rack Pulls, and maxed out with 315x4! 🤩 Then, pumped up my shoulders, and finished with cardio! Sore…but OHH SO SATISFYING!! 😁💪🏾

Happy Hump Day!! Yesterday, I went to the hospital for my liver biopsy! It wasn’t as bad as I thought! I was chill…and sedated! 😴 Now, we wait for the results ( which I think will be good. 😊👍🏾 ) I can’t workout for a couple of days though ( Argh 😠😞 ) But, that’s ok! Gotta recover, right?! 😊

Hey people! 😊 I’m in the ER at UIC. There’s some fluid around my heart, that has to be drained! That explains the water retention issue I’ve been having. But, I’m ok 🙂 and I will be admitted! LOVE YA!! 😊❤️‍🩹

I can’t believe that this was 22 years ago!! I remember that I was on my way to work, downtown. As soon as I got off the Red Line, on Michigan Avenue, it was like a deserted city. I found out immediately what happened, and was told to go back home. Watched the news coverage, and I was shocked!! 😳🫢😢 #911

It’s week 5, going back into lifting weights! I’m currently 229 lbs, and today was Back Day! Looks like the muscle is coming back quite nicely! What do you guys think?! 🤔💭🏋🏾‍♂️

Happy Monday everybody! Thought I would do a Before/After photo comparison! The first photo, was taken when I was 256 lbs, back in 2021. The second photo is my current weight of 228 lbs. Not to sound like a broken record, but you know the story! Again, I’m recovering very well, and started back weight training 2 weeks ago! It appears that my body is responding to my workouts, and starting to see some muscle mass and strength coming back! New goal though…pack back on the muscle, but stay 20-25 lbs lighter! I’m almost 53, so I want to give my heart a break, from carrying that extra weight. New journey, new gains, a renewal on my life! Let the new games continue! 😎🏋🏾‍♂️💪🏾

Happy Saturday everyone! 🙂 I’m recovering from my workout yesterday! It was Chest Day, and I feel great!! I currently weigh 227 pounds! Right where I want to be! Time to pack back on lean and strong muscle!! 💪🏾 Have a great weekend y’all!! 😉

I went to my lab appointment today! Also, had a bone marrow biopsy done too! Gave the doctor quite the workout with the procedure! Lol 😆 Thanks bodybuilding/powerlifting! 😉💪🏾
