🎖 AFL Hall of Famer Hayden Kennedy is a legend of the AFL Umpires association, but he also has a deep connection here in the states with the USAFL Umpires Association. A veteran of 495 games over 24 seasons, including five Grand Finals, Hayden's involvement in umpire development in the league's early days was pivotal in building the group of leaders we have nearly thirty years on. He's made many visits to Nationals over the years, including the one pictured here in 2017. It's a legacy that will last a long time and is galvanized in the Hayden Kennedy Medal, the award that's given to field umpires who are given the prestigious honor of working the Grand Final matches at the USAFL Nationals each year.

We join with the rest of the community in Hayden's enshrinement in the AFL Hall of Fame earlier this morning!
