Runner-up feels like a pretty successful weekend at the Chicagoland Singles Open.
Biondo made the final match a battle and after leading the field by almost 350 in qualifying, a well deserved victory. Huge congratulations to you!

Recapping Recent Events:
For me, the entire weekend was a battle. From the King of the Hill on Friday finishing only 16 pins away from cash on the same 40’ pattern (Kegel Sphinx) for the main event. Then I was behind the cut until the very last game of qualifying where I pulled out a 300 to seal a spot in matchplay. Until Sunday when started with a one lost game followed by 5 consecutive wins to survive best of 3 matches until the championship match. I lost my first game of the final match by only 6 pins, won the next with a 278, and finally lost for the runner-up finish.

Just the weekend before I was enjoying a 10th place finish with a 227 average over 20 games at 4 different bowling centers.

Andy Diercks for Dad Staffing with a roof, coaching, and master skills with a drill press.
Makala Diercks for lending a car each weekend for a while to pursue these events.
Roto Grip and the rest of the folks in Utah for ensuring that only the best equipment is in my hands.
CoolWick for hooking me up with some style to compete this weekend
JoPo Grips for keeping the ball on my hand every shot
Finally to all of the kind people I have the privilege of competing against. I applaud you for your efforts and forcing me to keep working at it to succeed.

On that note, look out, I’m not slowing down
