Looking for a high quality fitness class that will align your body, challenge your strength and you leave you feeling great?! I have a few spaces left in my Wed 10am and Saturday 8:30am classes. Reach out and come move with me!

Small group fitness classes are back this fall! 8-week sessions will be offered in Sept/Oct and 6-week sessions in Nov/Dec. Register for each full series for a discount or single class registration is available for those busy fall schedules.

Vitality's classes are designed for women by Sam Olson, personal trainer with prenatal/postnatal and functional fitness specialty training. These classes are perfect for every stage of life and fitness and instruction focuses on each individuals needs. Classes are also great supplements to physical therapy!

Vital Core (Wednesday sessions at 10am)

I have 2 small group fitness classes running this spring! Both are open for single drop-in class registration during April and May, giving you the opportunity to try a new format and fit in a great workout according to your schedule :).⁣

Vital Core Wed 10am- full body workout incorporating barre/Pilates/yoga. Focuses on proper core engagement in each exercise.⁣

Bootcamp Sat 8:30am- mix of low impact cardio and strength training drills. Exercises are safe, multi-joint, functional movements. Proper alignment and core engagement will be emphasized.⁣

Classes allow you to workout and build relationships in a community of women, and small enough to allow for alignment corrections, modifications, and advancements to meet your fitness needs and goals. ⁣

I’m thrilled to be adding new offerings at Vitality this spring! Sign-up is available now on our website or DM. I can feel the hope and reawakening in the air, make time for you this season and join me for good for the body and soul movement!

This spring Vitality is launching 2 new small group fitness classes, VITAL CORE and Vitality's Bootcamp. Each meet once a week for an 8-week series. Classes have a max of 8 participants for more individualized attention from Vitality's fitness trainer, Sam Olson. These classes are perfect supplements to an established fitness routine but are also a great place to start and build your foundations correctly. All levels of fitness are encouraged to participate as Sam will assist you in making the most out of every class.

reVITALize Strength will be back for another 8-week program this spring. This is a great foundational strength program for all ages and stages of a woman's life. Perfect for anyone new to strength training or wants to add strength training to their established fitness routine.

All 8-week series begin in April!
VITAL CORE: Wednesdays 10am (begins April 6th)
Vitality's Bootcamp: Saturdays 7:15am (begins April 9th)
reVITALize Strength: Saturdays 8:30am (begins April 9th)

I’m thrilled to start an 8 week fitness series reVITALize Mom: Winter Strength Program this Saturday January 29th! This series will provide a mix of in-person and virtual workouts, along with personalized support as you work towards your individual goals. ⁣

This strength series is built for women:⁣
[ ] At any stage of motherhood⁣
[ ] Needing flexibility on when and where they fit in their workouts⁣
[ ] New to fitness or returning to fitness⁣
[ ] Looking to add in a strength training component to their current routine⁣
[ ] Wanting accountability, motivation, and community ⁣
[ ] To develop strong and functional abdominal and pelvic floor muscles ⁣

The foam roller is a favorite of mine for hydrating connective tissue, smoothing knots/build-up, and moving toxins and stuck emotions through the body (no need to hang on to what doesn’t serve us!). ⁣

This upper back roll and diaphragm relapse are classics and ones I do on a daily basis. If you’re feeling a little hunchback, need to open up your posture, release tension from the upper back/neck/shoulders, and/or want to take a deeper, fuller, easier breath than these moves are for you! Complete 8-10 reps of each focusing on moving slow, breathing deeply, and connecting to your body. ⁣

Curious about pre/postnatal training? Join me October 26th at 6pm for a free workshop + workout!

Have you been living with a diastasis, low back pain, pelvic floor dysfunction and are scared to begin an exercise regimen?

Join Sam Olson, Prenatal/Postpartum Fitness Trainer, at Vitality Women's Physical Therapy and Wellness for a free workshop that will address common pregnancy and postpartum physical changes and how exercise is used to both heal and strengthen the body. Learn about the benefits you will gain by moving through a tailored prenatal/postpartum training program, and experience firsthand the type of movement and coaching you will receive through a 30 minute mini workout. Bring those burning questions you've been carrying around, as Sam will spend the last portion of the workshop addressing any questions and concerns.

I've been quiet on here for the last few months preparing for what comes next. I'm thrilled to announce that I have joined the team at Vitality Women's Physical Therapy and Wellness () to offer Pre and Postnatal Fitness Training.⁣

I have been searching for my professional "home" for quite some time and am grateful to have found a team with a common passion to empower women to feel and be there best physically, mentally and emotionally through all stages of life.⁣

My family just returned from an amazing trip to the UP Michigan, a spot we visited 3 years ago while I was 6 mos pregnant. I feel grateful upon our return for the postpartum rehab I completed that provides me the core stability and strength to chase, swim, climb, hike, and paddle with my sons. ⁣

The capacity of the female body to grow a tiny human is remarkable, yet it comes with costs (rib cage expands, ligament laxity, pelvic tilt, ⬆️lordosis in spine, ⬇️breathing efficiency, stretching of ab muscles/fascia, and compromised pelvic floor- to name a few!). I am blessed to have grown/birthed 2 healthy boys, but it was a wild ride regaining strength and confidence in my post baby body. I had a minor diastasis (squishiness between ab muscles), anterior pelvic tilt (pelvis tips forward pressing out/down on abs/PF) and PF dysfunction (minor prolapse and incontinence). I was disheartened by my new reality, but also curious as to why this was happening, why my doctors couldn't help, and what I could do to "correct" my body. ⁣

This prompted me to focus my fitness training on pre/postnatal and core corrective exercise. I armed myself w/ 2 solid certs ( ) and set out on the process of rehabbing my own body. Wth time, grace, and a lot of specialized work I was able to heal my diastasis, correct my prolapse, and develop deep ab strength. In the process, I built a mindfulness that allows me to align my body, breathe deeper, stand taller and move through life with ease and confidence (+less running to the bathroom!).⁣

Health care practitioners do a wonderful job keeping us and our babies safe/healthy through pregnancy/delivery. It is time that same attention be given to momma postpartum. ⁣

I'm thrilled to team with to offer a Pre/postnatal Training Program right here in ,IL. If you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, and/or postpartum (of any length!) this is for you. Pre-baby bodies require a time machine, but your healthiest, strongest, happiest body is right at your fingertips.⁣
