Stop cancelling yourself, love.
Love yourself enough to value YOUR time as much as you value others'.
This means stop doing every damn thing, and get your time back.
What could you do with an extra 5 hours per week, a.k.a. 20 hours per month?
Seriously, think about that. If you had an extra TWENTY hours this month, what would you do with it (that's like half the work week!)?
Consider some form of outsourcing, such as hiring an assistant, or another alternative.
🚫 "But, I'm not a CEO yet; I haven't worked hard enough and I'm not important enough to hire an assistant."
🚫 "But, I MUST be the one to do these things for everyone else or else it won't be done right, or done at all."
🚫 "But, I am so tired and so busy and I have no time for myself."
Before you continue self-rejecting, let me stop you right there. I know what you’re thinking because I once had the same thoughts. But, let me tell you something:
✅ EVERYTHING IS WITHIN YOUR CONTROL, including your mindset. Your worth is not tied to a title, and we both know you've worked damn hard.
✅ You DON'T have to be the one to do everything. Don't believe me? Stop doing it all and watch how much s**t still gets done when you step aside. And, who cares if it's perfect? Done is done.
✅ You're tired because you don't value your own time.
We can't do it all. In order for me to successfully build my business from the ground up (with ahem 4 kids in tow), it's imperative that I operate in my genius zone and surround myself with a supporting cast who can handle the day-to-day aspects of the business. This frees up my time TO GROW THE BUSINESS.
STOP DOING IT ALL. YOU DON'T HAVE TO.
Time to make some changes, in the name of self-love.
Parents, I have an additional solution for you as well. More to come in next week's Self-Love Sunday. Stay tuned. Stay loved up.
