The good thing about flying trapeze in Chicago? We have an indoor rig & you can fly all year round! But if you want to know what it feels like to fly through the air on the shores of Lake Michigan, there’s only a few weeks left before the rig comes down!

Come take a class while the weather’s still nice! No experience? No problem! Beginners are always welcome.

This is what you learn in your second flying trapeze class. 🎪

Everyone’s first trick is a knee hang & a backflip dismount. But if you nail that, what do you learn in your second class?

You learn this trick — a set whip! It’s called a whip because when you open off the bar, you whip your upper body open. When you learn this trick, you’ll first take it to the net, ideally landing on your stomach. In catch round, you’ll attempt to have the catch grab you from the open.

Wanna try it yourself? Sign up for a class! No experience necessary to try flying trapeze, & you’ll be kept safe in safety lines the whole time. We’ll be outdoors (weather permitting, bad weather classes will move indoors) for only a few more weeks.

It’s Chicago — we have to take advantage of all the nice days that we can. The weather lately has been absolutely perfect for circus outside. September is a great time to fly.

If you’ve been thinking about taking a class, or wanna learn more than just a knee hang (for instance the split), this is your sign to take a class outside while you can.

Once it gets cold, will be indoors again until next summer. So, if you want to fly with beautiful views of Lake Michigan, sign up now!

All Catch Class! 💪🎪💪

Wanna work on catching a trick? Returning to the board? Catching out of lines? Whatever you’re working on in flying trapeze, you can work on catching it in this class!

Interested in taking an All Catch Class? You must have a swing & a back end trick to participate. If you don’t have a back end trick, join a workshop & we can help you level up!

It’s a great way for students who are preparing for our student show coming up next weekend — or if you just want to focus on the catching part of flying trapeze. Whether you’re trying to catch your first back end trick or return out of safety lines, in this two hour class you’ll get a chance to work with multiple catchers towards your goals.

Best of all, you don’t need to have any experience in circus (or be able to do a pull up) to try flying trapeze with us! Our classes are designed for YOU — all you have to do is show up & want to fly!

This trick is called a shooting star, & while it’s a more advanced trick than you’ll learn in your first class, you can work towards it in one of our workshops 💫
