An 18-year-old who went on a carjacking and robbery spree last night won’t be doing it again.

His fourth victim of the evening, a concealed carry holder, shot him dead in Humboldt Park.

A man in the midst of an armed robbery and carjacking spree was shot dead when he confronted a concealed carry license holder in Humboldt Park on Tuesday night. Chicago police have not publicly identified the deceased criminal, but Cook County Medical Examiner records show he was 18 years old.

Illinois State House Pass AR-15 BAN & High Capacity Magazine Ban! Illinois State Senate set to vote on the Bill Sunday 1/8/2023.

If this bill is passed by the State Senate, It will be sent to Governor Pritzker on Tuesday 1/10/2023.

Any previously owned AR-15s will be grandfathered in. However we do not know the stipulations yet. We do not know how quickly this could go into affect.
