It's been almost a year since I've taken a moment to introduce myself to our newcomers. Welcome, everyone!

👋 Hi, I'm Ashley, owner of Hollowberry Manor. Married almost 25 years, 5 kids, and I work in the theatre industry. I grew up on a potato farm in southeast Idaho, and moved to Colorado when I married my husband. Crafting, creativity, and entrepreneurship are in my genes {my great-grandmother Hedquist would be so proud)! I've worked and built every part of my business including the website, the accounting, the photography, the marketing, the interior design, the networking, the painting/wallpapering/millwork, and everything in between. This is what makes my heart sing!

My ADHD brain keeps me going with a variety of interests, so I'm currently: a professional Photographer, a baker of the Best Cinnamon Rolls, Planner of Events, a dedicated Scrapbooker (traditional and digital), and am very involved in my local community.

As a lifelong scrapbooker and memory documenter myself, I've designed this retreat with my fellow creatives in mind. My fellow creatives who also love to create amongst friends, relax in a cozy setting, and have a chance to focus on your projects for a few days. Hollowberry Manor was made to be good for your soul!

I have such a fun announcement to make! Drumroll please...
..Hollowberry Manor has been chosen as the 2026 Cheyenne Christmas House!

It's a great honor to be chosen for this incredible fundraiser run each year by the Women's Civic League of Cheyenne. The theme this year is "It's a Wonderful Life," and I think it's a perfect vehicle to show this beautiful house in Christmas splendor! Mark your calendars to come to the tour and do your Christmas shopping December 4-5, 2026.

2026 has two open weekends left

You guys, we have an ICE MAKER! This silver beauty puts out 90 pounds of ice per day. Between this new ice maker, the small pink one, and the fridge ice maker, every group should be good to go!

Ok, I was definitely remiss in sharing the rest of what my Dad and I worked on last month. There were dozens of little things, and some of the big improvements, many of which are behind the scenes. Installing the ice maker was no small feat - Dad overcame all the obstacles that we've been having over this issue, and came out triumphant! I cannot express how grateful I am to my Dad for his help! Taking 10 days off from your regular lift is no small sacrifice, and he did it so graciously.

My dad and I are here for 10 DAYS to work on improvements to the manor! I’m so grateful that he is willing to come and share his amazing knowledge and skill with me!

The weather is thwarting some of our initial plans, but we are pushing forward with other tasks as we wait for warmer weather. Here is what we accomplished yesterday - along with about a dozen other tasks that we’ve started. Can’t wait to share with you all the great things happening this week!
