Ashley is a dedicated teacher at McCormick during the day, and she generously volunteers her time with us. Growing up in the country, she brings years of hands-on experience with German Shepherds and horses to our team.
Her boyfriend Braden is also a passionate volunteer here. With a strong background in working with animals, this country boy also loves fixing up cars in his free time.
Together, they make a perfect addition to the Z House Kennels family! 🐾

💔 Farewell to a Beautiful Soul – Amun Vom Z Haus 💔

Yesterday, with heavy hearts, we say goodbye to a truly special boy, Amun Vom Z Haus, who passed suddenly in Texas after a tragic and dramatic event.

Amun was more than just a dog — he was an example of intelligence, kindness, loyalty, and unconditional love. He had a soul that touched everyone around him, and a bond with his owner, Ahmed, that was truly one of a kind. Every night, Ahmed would tell Amun stories, sharing moments of love, comfort, and companionship that only the two of them truly understood.

This loss is unimaginably hard on Ahmed, and our hearts go out to him during this painful time. Losing a companion like Amun leaves an emptiness that words can never fully describe.

Amun, you were deeply loved, and you will never be forgotten. Run free now, beautiful boy, over the Rainbow Bridge 🌈🐾 — where there is no pain, only peace, endless fields, and joyful memories.

Until we meet again, farewell sweet Amun. You will forever remain in our hearts. ❤️

Meet Jackson, a handsome 5-year-old male German Shepherd looking for a second chance at life. ❤️

Jackson was rescued from the Wind River Indian Reservation on May 6th and was neutered and fully vaccinated on May 12th. Life hasn’t been very kind to him so far, and he truly deserves a loving, stable home where he can finally feel safe and appreciated.

🏡 Ideal Home for Jackson:
✔️ A single-pet household
✔️ Preferably a home in the country with room to enjoy life
✔️ No cats or small animals
✔️ A patient owner willing to give him structure, consistency, and love

To help ensure Jackson’s long-term success, Yola’s Pet Rescue, the rescue organization, requires the new owner to commit to a training program. This commitment is meant to set both Jackson and his future family up for success and help him thrive in his new environment.

Jackson is currently boarding with Z Haus Kennels while waiting for his forever home.

🐾 The DiPersio Family Meets Their Sweet Girl, Ava Vom Z Haus! 🐾

Today was such a special day at Z Haus Kennels as the DiPersio family came to meet their beautiful puppy, Ava Vom Z Haus! ❤️

At only 2 weeks old, little Ava hasn’t even opened her eyes yet — but that didn’t stop Jonna and Dante from completely falling in love with her already! 🥹🐶 And thanks to Steve, their dream of welcoming this precious girl into the family is becoming a reality.

For now, sweet Ava will remain with us, growing strong, loved, and cared for until she is ready to go to her forever home. Watching these special connections begin is one of the greatest joys of what we do. 💕
