Mental health week.

So as mental health week is coming to an end I like to draw upon my own experience with mental health.

For most people who know me closely would tell you I’m pretty chilled person quite laid back and nothing really bothers me and I would agree I’m pretty strong person physically and mentally. BUT even the strong sometimes fall.

September 2017 sat in a car in the middle of a university car park the world got to me, I sat and balled my eyes out for no reason later that week I found out I had clinical depression.
I never knew what real depression was or how feeling depressed felt, now and then people say when there upset “oh I feel depressed” but real depression is something completely different.

I’ve never been scared to show my emotion or share my feelings about something to anyone until then, I felt physically scared to tell people I had ‘it’ because at the time that how I could describe it was by calling it ‘it’. I felt like I would get judge for having depression, I felt like I’d let everyone of my friends and family Down, I was shocked for the first time in my life rugby couldn’t fix the issue at hand.

6/7 months ago I could never imagine being where I am now and Be at the place in my life I am now with 2 businesses and actually be enjoying life again.

For anyone out there who is suffering from any mental health issue you’re not alone you can speak. Don’t be afraid to speak and believe that it will get better because it does.

10 week challenge

The 10 week challenge is something I’ve made for me. It started off just a way to motivate me to get leaner and train harder in the gym and it worked now it’s your chance.

10 weeks to get:
- leaner
- Loose weight
- Eat better
- Train harder

How it works:
- To start off with you lower you processed sugar intake, you eat naturally grow and farm stuff so broccoli, carrots, fruit and other veg plus upping your lean protein so fish, chicken, turkey, lean beef. You also try to cut down on your bread intake and other bread like food e.g. bagels, donuts, muffins, etc

- Then you try and exercise for minimum 30 minute 6 days a week, the exercise can be anything from 30 minute walk or run to 30 minutes in the gym.

- You also can’t weigh you’re self for the whole of the 10 weeks, can’t step on them till the end of the 10 weeks.

And that’s it’s give it try.
