What a weekend for Venom in a Half Shell! 🐢⚽🐍

These boys battled the wind, sand, and tough competition all weekend long, finishing 3-1 and coming up just short of the championship. Their grit, teamwork, and growth were on full display every match.

This tournament was a true testament to the hard work they’ve put in all season. Couldn’t be more proud of this group and the way they competed from start to finish.

These boys battled the elements today, with sand whipping through the air, stinging faces and legs no matter where you looked.

They walked away 2-0 on the day, scoring 13 goals while allowing just 1.

Ended the season the best way possible, in the rain with a big win! ☔️⚽️🔥

Venom set a goal to score 50 goals this spring season, and today they officially finished with 52 goals scored (and only 5 scored against) and ended their season 8-0!!

So proud of the hard work, growth, and determination this team showed all season long.

A big thank you to Chris Whalley for coming out and working with our Venom boys tonight.

As the head coach of Chowan University Hawks men's soccer and Lionsbridge FC, he brought a great mix of energy, intensity, and detail to the session. Venom was tested, learned a lot, and had a great time competing.

Opportunities like this are what it’s all about. Learning, developing, and enjoying the game.
