The Music-Sports League (MSL) is the first National Governing Body for a new form of music competition called, "Music-Sports." In the league, music competition, more specifically, indie recording artist stage performance competition is conveyed as a sport, and is regulated under the infrastructure of an organized sports league. The "sports league" concept comes behind the desire to rank artists na

tionally and, eventually, internationally based on the competitiveness of their music, and stage performance. The most important element of the program is the "career-development" component that members of the league receive that focuses on the importance of artists understanding the music industry, as a business, and the ability to take a more entrepreneurial approach to their career. The MSL aspires to groom the industries next superstars, and become the premier development and recruiting platform for music industry institutions and professionals. Ultimately, the league has aspirations to become the first-ever "Olympic -Styled" music competition.
