This past Saturday was a special day at Motorvation Academy of Martial Arts.
Our students stepped onto the floor for testing and demonstrated not only their techniques, but the discipline, perseverance, and character that traditional ITF Tang Soo Do develops.
Testing is never easy, and this one was no exception. The road leading to Saturday challenged many of us in different ways, making each accomplishment earned for each even more meaningful.
A sincere thank you to Master Dollinger, Master Bradford, and the black belts from Flushing Karate and Owosso Martial Arts for taking time away from their own schools and families to support our students. Your dedication to preserving and passing on traditional ITF Tang Soo Do strengthens all of our schools and reminds us that we are part of something much larger than ourselves.
We are proud of the growing Tang Soo Do family here in Chesaning, and proud of the strong Michigan ITF roots we share with our neighboring schools. Through testing, training, victories, challenges, and seasons of loss, we continue forward together learning, growing, and supporting one another as one martial arts family.
Congratulations to all who tested. Your hard work showed.
And, a special request for prayers over our little martial arts family today as we celebrate a life well lived.
