Looking back at this past year, I am incredibly proud of this group of young ladies. Twelve months ago, we stepped onto the diamond for the first time as a team, with many of the girls not knowing each other or me. Today, that has completely changed.
After 75 games together, we have truly become a family and formed lifelong friendships. Having the privilege to coach these young ladies through every high and low has been an honor. To say they have improved would be an understatement—each one of them has grown immensely, both as athletes and as individuals.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you to the players and families for giving me the opportunity to coach you this year.
Enjoy your break, ladies. Like I always say, rest up so we can go to work.
