I always thought it was funny in movies however, whenever there was a funeral or something sad going on, they have it rain because let’s be honest in most places, chances are it’s not going to be raining when you have a bad day or when you lose a loved one or when everything seems to be going wrong but it’s dramatic - it looks good on camera. It sets the mood.

Well today, I said goodbye to my last horse. And it’s pouring June 6. We have been having nice 70+ degree weather and today as I loaded her into the trailer it was pouring.

how fitting, I thought it fits my mood and how funny that for once life really was imitating art: the tears and the rain mingled as she drove away.

I do hope that I can at least ride or drive a friend’s pony or horse once in a while, but my body is such that I’m just not sure.

Not to be all sad, our first group of sheep are arriving today, so a bright spot.

Zilco harness - pony size (not shetland!). I believe the person I bought it from said it had upgrades, but I can't remember what.. It fit my 12.2 (at the rump) 2 year old cob but no longer have a horse.

description: Light to carry, yet tremendously strong. Can be easily converted from single to pair with the addition of a few extra parts. Stainless steel fittings throughout.
