2023 VHSRA State Finals are over and it was a awesome weekend. Eliza kept all her poles and barrels standing and all her goats tied. She finished the season as the Reserve State Champion in pole bending and 3rd in goat tying and has qualified for her first National Finals Rodeo next month in Georgia. She also received the Spirit Award which is so special because the contestants select the winner. However, the award she won that means the most is the inaugural Diane Nelson Memorial award. For Diane and Mike to notice how special Eliza is means the world to us. We're so honored and proud to receive this award.

Solid weekend in Powhatan, Eliza and Reggie ran through the mud in the first go finishing 4th in goats and 3rd in poles and ran 2nd in poles in the 2nd go. Awesome weekend at the Battle on the Border Multi-State Rodeo with VA, NC and MD. Eliza had an awesome weekend at the Field Days Multi-State Rodeo. In poles she placed 2nd overall in the 1st go and 3rd overall in the 2nd go and won the average, she also recorded her best time so far in poles, a 22.519 run.
