✨ Get to Know the Owner – Melissa from SangCo Cheer Bows! ✨

Hi everyone! I’m Melissa, the creator and owner behind SangCo Cheer Bows. I grew up in Hazel Park, Michigan, where my love for dance and cheerleading first began. Over the years, that passion turned into a lifelong journey — I’ve had the privilege of coaching both dance and cheer in Michigan and Illinois, helping young athletes build confidence, strength, and spirit.

These days, I balance a busy and fulfilling life! I work full time as a Senior Quality Analyst for a large insurance company, teach Acro at Jan’s Dance Studio, and run SangCo Cheer Bows — my creative outlet that brings a little extra sparkle to my world. ✨

I’ve been making bows on and off for about 10 years, ever since my daughter first started cheerleading, and for the past three years, it’s become a true passion and small business I’m so proud of.

I’ve called Chatham, Illinois, home for the past 12 years, where I live with my husband and our two amazing kids — a high school senior daughter and an 8th grade son. Between coaching, teaching, and being a proud cheer and dance mom, creating custom bows has become my way to stay connected to the activities I love most.

Every bow I make is crafted with care, attention to detail, and a whole lot of sparkle. Whether it’s for a cheer squad, dance team, or special event, my goal is to help your athletes look and feel their best — one bow at a time!
